Background
St Mellons Golf Club is home to one of the finest golf courses in Cardiff, South Wales. Despite a beautiful course and first class facilities, they lacked a clear digital strategy and were using an outdated website that just didn’t attract the levels of new visitors they needed.
Our Solution

St Mellons Golf Club had outdated branding when they came to us that really didn’t capture the new modern, welcoming club image that they wanted to get across. Their old logo was dark, with unattractive colour combinations and didn’t represent the quality of the club. So we created a new brand identity for the golf club. A new logo and new brand identity, with a new colour palette that portrays quality whilst appearing modern and welcoming.
Website Design
We designed and developed a brand new, modern golf club website that really highlighted the beauty of their course. That meant implementing a modern, clean, minimalist design, focussing on letting the images of the golf course do the talking. The goal of their website was simple, to make finding information for members easier and to attract new visitors by putting the course and facilities on display. As part of their website project, we have created a new club newsletter which we support them in producing each month. This has been a great hit with their members!

Attracting new visitors from all over the South Wales and even the world beyond, who are looking for a golf course to visit around Cardiff, was a key objective in producing a new golf club website for St Mellons. We created a new digital marketing strategy for them, with SEO at the centre. Targeting keywords for local golf club searches, golf coaching/lessons, their shop, promoting their clubhouse facilities for events and functions, and attracting new sponsorship deals. Within months they’ve seen a 200% increase in overall traffic with all bookings at record highs. They’ve also sold out their sponsorship packages as a result.

We provide graphic design to St Mellons Golf Club for social media graphics, posters/flyers for events and graphics for their monthly newsletter. In addition to this, we put together a brochure for their sponsorship package, which helped them sell out.
